So it has been five weeks since I have updated…
I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m thinking about them. I’ll update everyone one what I have been doing in the last five weeks
Scriptures of the week.
I have decided to memorize at least two scriptures a month for the next year so he is my list so far.
Romans 15:13vMay the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Isaiah 40:31 but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight
Ezekiel 37:27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
Psalms 62:8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
I have the first three down pretty well but I just picked up the last two and I was working so hard at trying to get the order right with the fruit of the spirit that the Proverbs one got a way from me.
I’m back to writing research papers. Always a fun thing.
The Beth Moore study Wow is doing on Tuesdays is rocking my socks. Yah I cried through this last week’s video. Love and being rejected-holy smokes
I’m starting to plan the mission trip again.
I’m working on dates this week and that got away from me due to the research paper.
I’ll leave you all with a fun story about Caty…
This past weekend I was talking to Caty about school and we got to talking about her teacher. Well I made the comment that her teacher must be an “angel in disguise”( She has 30 kindergartens in her room of course she’s an angel). Caty was very sure that Mrs. K is not an angel in disguise. So I asked Caty if Mrs. K had wings hiding in her closet. Here is Caty’s answer.
No Bubby, Mrs. K is not an angel she does not have wings all she has is a desk and a computer. That’s it.

Bedside Blessings
For Christmas this I got everyone books. I went to CBD and ordered in bulk, you know things like order 1 for $5 each or order 5 for $1 each, so it was really a no brainer. Because they were all so cheap I also got a set for myself. One of the books is called Bedside Blessings. Last Nights reading posed kind of a neat question, here it is.
When was the last time you thanked the Lord for not showing you the future? I’m convinced that one of the best things God does for us is to keep us from knowing what will happen beyond today. Just think of all the stuff you didn’t have to worry about just because you never knew it was coming your way!

Scripture of the Week
Matthew 17:20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
One of my new friends on Facebook asked the question “Why a mustard seed, do you think a molecule would be enough faith?” Here was my answer
I think so. When Jesus made that statement he was the only one that knew what a molecule was but no one else did. So he had to use examples that his men would understand, but can you imagine that conversation; this is how it would go in my head when I think about it.
Jesus: “Dude (Yes, Jesus uses the word “Dude”), in like 1500 years there will be this guy that finds all really small things that make up every thing what we know”
James: “Shut Up!”
Jesus: “No, dude it is going to happen. Mark my words”
James: “Yah, like I’m going to be here in 1500 years”
The End.
